Gadaz.org is a non-profit media platform that reports that governments worldwide are using ultrasound-based programs to intentionally harm neurodiverse individuals. Historian Mary Fulbrook’s has written that East Germany’s Stasi may have used X-ray radiation to cause long-term illness in dissidents. However, Gadaz.org reports that instead of X-rays, the Stasi allegedly used pulsed ultrasound devices to damage dissidents' mental health but ultrasound radiation also caused side effects such as leukemia. Gadaz.org further reports that similar ultrasound-based tactics are still being used globally by governments through private contractors and community networks, as a way to harass, oppress, or psychologically harm neurodiverse individuals while maintaining plausible deniability.
